Dr Maimunah Atan MBBS, MMed. Rad.
Dr
Maimunah Atan graduated with medical degree from Universiti Malaya and Master of
medicine (Radiology) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She was an Associate
Professor at the Department of Radiology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia at the
time of her optional retirement early 2002.
Assoc Prof Dr Rozi Mahmud MBBS, MMed. Rad.
Dr Rozi is Head and Associate Professor at the lmaging Department, Universiti Pertanian Malaysia. She graduated with medical degree from Universiti Malaya and Master of Medicine
(Radiology) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia
Dr Ahmad Sobri Muda MD, MMed. Rad.
Dr
Ahmad Sobri is Lecturer/Radiologist at the Imaging Department, Universiti Putra
Malaysia. He graduated with medical degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia
and Master of Medicine (Radiology) from Universiti Sains Malaysia.

STATEMENT OF NEED |

This CME programme was developed to comply with
licensing requirements of the Ministry of Health under the Atomic Energy Licensing Act 1984 (Act 304) for specialized diagnostic radiology services
provided by private hospitals and radiology clinics.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND |
 |
Licensed doctors (GPs)and trained operators are required to undergo
continuing medical education (CME) to update their knowledge on a yearly basis for the renewal of their operating licence. The training syllabus will comprise
at least some of the following topics:
- Radiation protection pertaining to the use of X-ray equipment
- Radiographic techniques
- Image quality criteria and requirements
- X-ray reporting
- Management of Quality Assurance Programme (QAP)

ACCREDITATION |

This Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme has been planned and developed in accordance to the requirement of the Ministry of Health for the renewal of
operating licence for diagnostic radiology services.
Allied Physics' programmes are approved by the Ministry of Health to provide CME for licensed doctors and trained operators. As such, we take responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of the CME programme
